Mill renovation in progress

You may pass by Abbotts Mill and wonder what's going on. The Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs (owner of the historic buildings) has hired BRS Consulting, Inc. of Harrington to do some much needed renovations. They will be making repairs to the foundation, siding and windows of the mill, the barn and the storage building and everything is getting a fresh coat of paint! The back side of the barn looks like a greenhouse because it's been closed in so repair of the rotted sill under the wall can proceed this winter. All work should be complete by mid-March, depending on the weather of course!
